From a MySpace start to his chart-topping hit "Pist Off", there's no slowing down for upcoming musician J Aktive.
J Aktive is a rising independent artist who is quickly making a name for himself in the music industry. With a unique sound and creative vision, he is poised to take the world by storm. J Aktive has produced several chart-topping singles, including “Pist Off,” which went viral on social media and received high praise from some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry.
His passion for music began at an early age. His mother made him and his sisters sing in front of the church every Sunday, and his older brothers were full-time rappers who inspired him to pursue his own music career. J Aktive began by recording numerous records and uploading them on Myspace. He then moved to Downtown Los Angeles, where he created Aktivate Productions, where he directed and edited music videos for other artists to make a living. After years of being behind the scenes in the music industry, he wanted to take his music career into his own hands.
J Aktive executively produces all of his own music. He comes up with the topics, selects the beats, and works closely with his engineer, Yoji Roby, to fine-tune and enhance every aspect of the song to execute his original vision. Some of his favorite producers to work with are Lexi Banks, Quamieyae, and OUHBOY.
He has many new singles coming out this year. He plans to release 20 uniquely different new singles in the year 2023. He wants to take the “Russ” approach and release a song once a week until he runs out of unreleased songs. He has a major single coming out with a Platinum-selling artist this spring that he is excited about.
J Aktive wants to motivate and inspire his audience to Aktivate their true ambitions. He wants to communicate that it’s healthy to express your emotions and to bring the fun back to music, like the 90s vibes where people felt happier within themselves. He wants to inspire people to be the best versions of themselves.
J Aktive’s day consists of waking up and making a healthy smoothie and taking his daily supplements. He meets with his team to continue game planning on new ways to promote his image and latest projects. During the day, they’re in his office editing content, mixing new music, and shooting new videos. They also reach out to major platforms to showcase his artistry. At night, he likes to work out before he goes to sleep, as it helps his brain to wind down after a full day of heavy thinking.
J Aktive has overcome many challenges in his life. Firstly, it was leaving his old group of friends to create a positive lifestyle for himself. Secondly, it was when his mother was diagnosed with a brain tumor located at the stem of her brain a couple of years ago, which jeopardized all her motor skills. She had two options: chemotherapy or brain surgery, both of which had a high failure rate.
J Aktive is a true inspiration to many people around the world. His dedication and passion for music are second to none, and he continues to work tirelessly to create music that motivates and inspires his audience.
