Following the release of his new single "Waiting", we get to know Australia's newest free flowing artist, whilst unfolding this week's Internet Crush.

Travelling far and wide across indigenous countries with his musical father as a child, rising star Kian is no stranger to the music scene. Surrounded by artists, musicians and rappers all throughout his childhood, the musician decided to create his own neo-spiritual, alternative indie sound to bring to our airwaves. Making his mark in the spotlight, Kian rose to fame from his killer chorus on Baker Boy’s debut track “Cloud 9″ back in May 2016, and since then he shows no signs on waiting when it comes down to his musical journey.

Since being awarded the Unearthed High Competition in Australia, hosted by International Tastemaker Triple J, Kian has boomed his way further up in the scene, and was recently named as one of I-D Australia’s ‘Class of 2018’, and ‘Artist of the Week’ by Apple Music. With over 23 million streams on Spotify alone and 2 million monthly listeners following the release of his latest single “Waiting”, Kian has been deservedly selected to open the stage for Jorja Smith and perform at The Great Escape Festival 2019.

Luckily, we get a chance to sit down and unfold with the Aussie himself as our latest Internet Crush feature.

Do you remember your dreams? Tell us about a recent dream you’ve had….

I tend to remember most of my dreams but they are always super weird and abstract, in one of my last dreams I was laying in a paddock of flowers watching a bird chase a dog in the sky.
