Lacoste are celebrating two of their classic trainers, L001 and L002, recent reworks that play on their fashionable tennis shoe heritage.

Lacoste have dropped a campaign film to celebrate two of their iconic styles, the L001 and L002. The L001 reworks Lacoste’s tennis heritage, with two key details taken the Lacoste archive: the Rene, the first ever shoe created by Rene Lacoste, and a vintage racket from 1980s. The second pair, the L002, are designed specifically for women.

Both silhouettes are retro and chunky, with flashes of colour on the shoe’s uppers. Alongside pastel details, the Lacoste crocodile features on the back of both trainers.

The campaign film plays on the theme of mixing past and present that runs throughout the collection overall. It unites various old and young  characters, alongside a dog, bee, footballer, and a ping pong player.

Both sneakers are available now in a range of colourways, discover more about the drop here.
