Four-piece rock band People R Ugly return with brazen banger "Life Of My Own Party", released alongside energetic visuals.

Formed in Southern California, People R Ugly consist of members Zak Dossi, Bill Biersy, Julian Delgrosso, and Tristan Kevitch. Their formation was unconventional to say the least, in a story that unfolded on YouTube but had led to real creative output. Their first video comes for fun single “Life Of My Own Party”, showing the world what the group are all about.

Drummer Tristan had a dream of playing Los Angeles, without a band, or any original songs. Having spent two years reaching out to various venues, eventually it was the iconic Whisky A GoGo in West Hollywood that answered with an open slot. Finding Zak on Instagram, who then introduced him to Bill “Biersy” Biers and Julian, within five days they had sold out their first show. The story unfolds on YouTube channel Seek Discomfort, and has so far racked up almost 400,000 views.

A year later and releasing music on On The One Records, alongside their partner Soundcloud, they have performed over 15 shows at venues all over Los Angeles. Their latest track, “Life Of My Own Party”, is a feel-good anthem, telling the story of that stage when you’ve just about put up with enough in a romantic relationship. The chorus rings:“I’m the life of my own party, Sick of feeling sorry, Sick of feeling love I don’t need at all”.
