Multi-instrumentalist and producer Awir Leon returns with swirling new release “Stars”, ahead of his new album ‘Love You, Drink Water’.
Establishing himself as a talented vocalist, producer and multi-instrumentalist, Awir Leon is back, and better than ever with his debut release of the year “Stars”. Effortlessly showcasing his vibrant musicality, throughout this track the artist weaves in speckles of electronica, hip-hop and indie into one.
For the last two years, Awir has been touring internationally as the opening act of ‘Woodkid’. Now currently working on expanding his discography, the artist is slowly working on releasing a handful of new singles in the lead-up to his forthcoming album ‘Love You, Drink Water’. “Stars” is the beginning of many addictive hits to come and is an energetic single bound to lift your spirit.
Speaking about his new single, Awir says: ““Stars”, to put it simply, is a self-motivation song. It’s a ‘pick yourself up’, ‘get your shit together moment’. “All the stars on your skin when you’re sweaty” is probably the core line of the song though. It gives this idea that you’ll find another dimension through picking yourself up again, that you’ll shine through effort”.
