Singer-songwriter Bea Stewart shares a melodic ballad “Stitch It Up” in the run-up to her forthcoming EP.
Indie-folk artist Bea Stweart is gearing herself up for her debut EP with a brand-new single “Stitch It Up”. Shared alongside sombre acoustics, this heartfelt release features relatable lyrics about letting go of negative thoughts and doesn’t disappoint.
Recently signed to Kin Records (Two Door Cinema Club), the up-and-coming artist is eager to embark on her musical journey this 2023. Following the success of her 2022 release “Nicest Song I’ve Ever Written”, Bea is bouncing back with a crystal clear sound that furthers her effortless storytelling skills. Working with Eliot James to record her new EP, fans can expect to hear arrangements of live strings by Eliot alongside Bea’s captivating vocals throughout this project.
Speaking about her new release in detail, Bea says: ““Stitch It Up” may as well be an entry straight out of my journal. It’s a song I wrote to acknowledge the critical voice inside my head, particularly when it tells me that I don’t have anything valuable to say and that I should just stop talking or singing or writing songs. I found that once I had addressed that voice and acknowledged what it was, it was a lot easier to let go of the things it was telling me. I didn’t really plan for anyone to hear it as I was writing it but after I had finished it felt like something I should share”.
