French-Canadian Nigerian singer, songwriter and actress, TÖME, unveils her R&B-infused album LÖV (Love Over Vanity)

Hot off her win at the 2021 Juno Awards last Summer, French-Canadian Nigerian artist TÖME unveils her highly anticipated third studio album titled “LÖV”, short for Love Over Vanity. The ten-track offering is an exhilarating fusion of R&B, soul and afrobeats that showcases TÖME’s at her genre-melding best.

With a roster of talented producers on the project, such as Shizzi (Beyonce, Ed Sheeran), LT Moe (Rick Ross, Wale, Eminem) and Grammy-nominated Legendury Beatz (Wizkid, Tems, Justin Bieber), “LÖV (Love Over Vanity)” is a guaranteed captivating listen from start to finish.

Speaking about the inspiration behind her “LÖV” album, TÖME explains, “Honestly there wasn’t much of a thought process or true inspiration behind the album specifically, I just wanted my feelings to speak for me. Whatever that meant, this album feels good, it feels like heart-warming love. That was the inspiration. I want people to take home the feeling of love being in all shapes and forms, that loving yourself is just as strong and vibrant as loving somebody else. I want my fans to know their worth but not let it get into their head. Live by Love over Vanity”.

With a knack for gripping storytelling and relatable songwriting, TÖME’s enchanting voice has seen her streams rack up into the millions. Considering she has only been releasing music for two years, it is safe to say TÖME is cementing her status as a global rising star. Give “LÖV” a listen below.
