Celebrating timeless style with iconic Levi’s women’s fits, singer songwriter, Mabel, stars as the face of its Spring/Summer 2021 campaign.
In a series of images and films, Mabel is pictured in a range of all things denim. From the original and iconic 501 jean to the Ribcage jean – the highest rise ever in the brand’s history – to the newly launched Loose Fit range taking its inspirations from the high-rise, relaxed silhouettes of the early noughties and incorporates new sustainable technologies, Levi’s continues to celebrate the old and the new.
In the campaign film, Mabel reflects on her personal icons where she is inspired by the style of late nineties and early noughties R&B pop star Aaliyah. Mabel also speaks candidly about the female superpower of feeling confident no matter what you’re wearing, preferring baggier fits growing up but never compromising on feeling ‘sexy’.
“I’ve always been slightly tomboy-ish, yet I’ve always felt I could define my own sexiness through how I dress. There’s something so empowering about being able to showcase all the sides to your personality through varied style choices and experimenting with different fits. I’m someone that dresses depending on my mood. That’s why the Levi’s brand is so iconic to me; there’s a fit for everyone, whether you want to go for that relaxed, baggy look with the new Loose Fit, or a timeless look with a classic pair of 501 Jeans and heels”
Mabel also discusses how Levi’s denim only gets better with time, a belief that is a big part of the brands ethos.
