Feelgood Swedish band Two Year Vacation have dropped their new single "Majored In Broken Hearts".

Hailing from Gothenburg, Sweden, Two Year Vacation cite a range influences – from ABBA to Fatboy Slim through early Daft Punk, MGMT, Arcade Fire, Vampire Weekend and Peter Björn & John. All these inspirations blend naturally into their own mix of melodic, uplifting indie-pop.

When they started, the band shared two self-released EPs, but as they grew, joined forces with the Hamburg-based label Clouds Hill and Warner Music Germany to releases their debut album ‘Slacker Island’ in 2019, which boasted their most successful track to-date, “I Forgot Your Name (But I Like You”). Last year, they shared the four-track EP, ‘Bedroom Rock’, and then their sophomore record in October, ‘Laundry Day’, which produced the popular track “Never Been To Paris”.

2021 now sees the band gear up towards the release of another four-track EP called ‘Getting Into Real Estate’, arriving in October. Singles “What Goes Around” and “Come Over When You Want” will sit on the EP, as will the record.

New single “Majored In Broken Hearts” is a shot of indie-pop sugar, and we can’t wait for another round.
