Jaja Morph shares effusive ode to his roots in new track and visual, “My Way”, out now.

In his brand new release, “My Way”, emerging artist Jaja Morph delves into what it means to connect with one’s roots. Mixing Jaja’s Afrobeats leaning with an uber smooth flow and memorable melodies, it’s a single to have on repeat this summer.

“My Way” is accompanied by a music video that was filmed in Nigeria, as a tribute to his Nigerian heritage. Split between homely neighbourhood scenes and flashes of dancing in neon-lit clubs, the south London-based musician continues to unpick his past in the visual.

Speaking on the meaning behind the song, he explains, “‘My Way’ is about the journey you take to connect, whether that be with a loved one, friends or your roots. I created the track through a beat that was sent to me and recorded the track before taking a trip to Nigeria to connect with my roots and family. We were fortunate enough to shoot the video in various locations across the country.”
