Alt-folk act Noble Jacks have dropped a stomping new single, "Never Been Here Before".

Noble Jacks have dedicated their career to bringing the heart and soul of Americana across the Atlantic. Taking inspirations from American legends like Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen as well as newer blood like The War on Drugs and Nathaniel Rateliff, the quartet have made quite the name for themselves with their brand of stomping alt-folk.

Like so many in the business, the band were hit hard by COVID, especially considering the pandemic hit when they were cresting the wave of a big album launch in 2019. However, Noble Jacks took the space and time to hunker down and work on new ways of creating music, including co-writing sessions on Zoom, and the result is a brand new album that’ll allow the group to head back onto the live touring circuit with a statement.

The album is set to hit in April, and Noble Jacks’ new single, “Never Been Here Before” is the first cut. The new single emulates the group’s classic country sound, with a driving beat and catchy hooks. The video demonstrates the group’s musicality, as folk fiddle soars over Will Page’s lead vocals.

On the new tracks, Will says, “The songs encapsulate layers of storytelling vocals, warm guitars, driving drums and catchy riffs. There is always a large dose of optimism within our music. The new album is an exciting ride. From heartfelt notions around preserving our planet, to being stuck on an island and staying headstrong while the rain keeps pouring and the world keeps spinning, this album could be a reflection on our multifaceted lives. This is the first time we have collaborated with artists outside our band and it’s brought a rejuvenating new style with it.”
