Independent soul artist Manny Walters returns with new single “No Reason”.
Born and based in South Africa, Manny Walters is a soul and R&B artist bringing sounds from his home country to audiences across the world. Back after a two year hiatus, with the new single, “No Reason”, Manny is an artist ready to show his fans how far he’s come.
Growing up finding the likes of Tracy Chapman and Lenny Kravitz as seminal influences, Manny developed an understanding for soul and rock music from a young age. Embarking on a journey of self-discovery, he developed his own guitar and voice driven sound. Performing in cafes and bars around Cape Town, SA, his debut EP, ‘Anecdotes’ came in 2015. Pushing forward with his musical evolution, he appeared on the Sofar Sounds series and hit 14 million streams on one of his videos.
After a two-year-gap, Manny’s latest release is the funk and soul infused, “No Reason”. His earthy tone plays effortlessly against reverb-soaked guitars, and the catchy chorus reminds listeners what they’ve been missing.
