The Bristol boy releases the next track from his upcoming EP.

Originally from Bristol, musician Javeon first cut his teeth with a series of killer collabs. Working with production royalty including Julio Bashmore, Cyril Hahn and Le Youth, he put himself on the man as one of Bristol’s best new musicians. His own work, which includes the singles “Lovesong” and “Intoxicated” have helped him gain support from the likes of Idris Elba and Groove Armada.

Thankfully, we’re finally about to get our hands on his latest EP, which drops in March, and we’re lucky enough to be premiering the second single from the EP, “Nobody”. It’s undeniably a funk-infused anthem for lovers, with silky smooth vocals and a driving basslines with afro-funk rhythms. If this is a taste of what to expect from the EP, it’s going to be banger after banger.

Of the track, Javeon tells us: “‘Nobody’ was a product of the final session I did with Zack the Lad for my new EP. It’s a blend of UK Electronic Bass music, and a pop top line with a very catchy hook. It’s a perfect blend of what I’ve done in the past and what I’m currently working on”

Javeon will be playing a headline gig in his hometown of Bristol. You can catch him on Monday 8th April at The Crofters Rights. Click here to grab tickets.
