Didn't catch our live-streamed performance from Dan D'Lion? See exclusive BTS imagery and get the lowdown from the event - in partnership with Metropolis Studios and Amazon Music.
Remember live music? Belting out lyrics at the top of your lungs, jumping around with your mates, jostling through the crowd, pints in your hands? It may seem like a distant memory, but thanks to a partnership with Amazon Music and Metropolis Studios, Notion is bringing it back – albeit from a distance.
On 27th October at London’s historic Metropolis Studios, singer, songwriter, musician, and producer, Dan D’Lion, performed an exclusive live set, streamed to fans.
The iconic recording space has previously played host to Freddie Mercury, Elton John, Stormzy, and now Dan D’ Lion.
Ahead of the performance, Notion caught up with Dan D’Lion about his recently released mixtape ‘When One Thing Leads To Another’.
Dan D’Lion is the genre-blending artist known for his 2019 track “BETTERMAN”, breathtaking falsetto and high-energy performances. Safe to say, everyone was anticipating the livestream.
Taking to the stage, Dan D’Lion treated Notion, Amazon Music, and his streaming fans to an electric show.
Kicking the gig off with “Give What You Take” from his “BETTERMAN” EP, Dan D’Lion then played renditions of his popular songs “Co-Pilot”, “Superwoman” and “Pull Me Under”.
Going out with a bang, Dan also revealed his soon-to-be-released single “Apple Juice”. With a bouncing beat and fizzing production, we’ve no doubt the track was stuck in everyone’s head afterward.
Since launching his solo music career last year, multi-instrumentalist Dan D’Lion (real name Dan Bartlett) has kept busy by releasing a handful of singles and three EPs. The London-based artist started in the industry as a songwriter and producer for some key figures.
Creating surging, sparkling, often euphoric numbers, Dan D’Lion is certainly one to watch as he crashes onto the scene from the skies.
