Remember live music? Belting out lyrics at the top of your lungs, jumping around with your mates, jostling through the crowd, pints in your hands? It may seem like a distant memory, but thanks to a partnership with Amazon Music and Metropolis Studios, Notion is bringing it back – albeit from a distance.
On Tuesday 10th November at London’s historic Metropolis Studios, south London trap and drill rapper, K-Trap, performed an exclusive live set, streamed to fans.
The iconic recording space has previously played host to Freddie Mercury, Elton John, Stormzy, and now K-Trap too.
Ahead of the performance, Notion caught up with K-Trap to chat about his recently released single ‘Street Side Effects’ and upcoming album.

K-Trap is the rapper known for his languid electro beats, hazy resonant basslines and defiant and hedonistic lyrics. Safe to say, everyone was anticipating the livestream.
Taking to the stage, K-Trap treated Notion, Amazon Music, and his streaming fans to one helluva show.
Throughout the show, K-Trap delivered captivating renditions of his popular songs “Big Mood”, “Whip That Work” and more.

Since launching his music career back in 2017 with debut single “David Blaine”, MC K-Trap has released a steady stream of singles, collaborated with Headie One, Nafe Smallz, Mischief, Abra Cadabra, Blade Brown and more. With three full-length projects under his belt – 2017’s ‘K-Trap Presents The Last Whip Mixtape’, 2018’s ‘The Re-Up’ and 2019’s ‘No Magic’, a buzz has built for his upcoming fourth opus.
No stranger to racking up millions of streams on his music, we definitely won’t be the first – or last – to say that K-Trap’s is one to watch.
