We have teamed up with No Boundaries, a new platform connecting creatives around the U.K founded by Vanessa Maria and Stacey Olika. The No Boundaries Mix Series presents one collective mix featuring DJs from 5 different cities!
Talent has no boundaries and neither does music. When we think about the heart of the UK music scene, we often think about London. But with the rise of new talent across the country and pockets of new scenes emerging across the UK, its times to shine a light on the creatives pushing the sounds in their own cities.
The collective mix highlights some the best upcoming DJs hailing from Bristol, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester and Nottingham. This is an audio experience which spans across multiple genres and styles. We’re excited to share with you some of the underrepresented talent that you don’t usually get to hear from.
Get ready to listen to a wave of new DJ talent who have curated mixes to represent their city and their sound. Talent has no boundaries and next up is Manchester!
Tarzsa has already made a large impact on the Manchester music scene as an NTS Radio resident, where she champions emerging local soul and R&B artists on her show alongside [ K S R ]. In the club, her delicate ear for big hooks and bigger basslines means that her sets are consistent in high energy, dancefloor-friendly occasions. With sets around the city and beyond, she has gained the attention of many which include the likes of Mr Scruff and Gilles Peterson. After a perfect introduction to Tarzsa’s sound, last year during her Keep Hush debut, Manchester producers and club legends “Swing Ting” have now taken this exciting young DJ under their wing as their newest recruit. We look forward to watching this homegrown DJ flourish whilst using Manchester her stomping ground.
Daisy Adams is a DJ and presenter who brings the most upfront rap and R&B energy to clubs and events and at her new home Manchester’s ARIA Award-winning online radio station Reform Radio; and guest spots at NTS Radio and London’s Westside Radio. With a portfolio of high profile guests including IAMDDB, Aitch, Slowthai, Alacai Harley and energetic freestyle and interview segments The Daisy Adams Show brings good music and the harder street sounds that Daisy has the guts and good taste to bring to the fore. Most recently working with Puma Football to launch the brand new kit including the Hacienda inspired Man City away kit, Daisy played an exclusive DJ set ahead of performances from Manchester stars Aitch and Bugzy Malone.
