Tailoring brand Oliver Spencer joins sportswear company FILA in the court, serving a sustainable tennis-inspired collection.

An on-the-ball new collection from team Oliver Spencer and FILA takes inspiration from the tennis icons of the 80s as well as Wes Anderson’s 2001 Nico soundtracked dysfunctional family drama, The Royal Tenenbaums.

Playing doubles, Oliver Spencer offers up his crisp tailoring while FILA harks back to the heyday of tennis couture. Featuring a Hayward Jersey Jacket, Benedict Polo, and matching Ari Jersey Shorts, for the menswear collection Oliver Spencer perfected a new terry-towel corduroy. The Breton colours, Auckland Navy, Auckland Red and Auckland Cream, look to FILA’s colourways, while Dapper Dan’s designs were also a mood board inspiration.

The collection is sustainably produced and 10% of sales will go towards the MR PORTER Health In Mind Fund.

Oliver Spencer has said: “I am very excited to be working with such an authentic, heritage sportswear brand. Working together to fuse lifestyle and sportswear we have produced an exciting collection that is selling through our long-standing partner – MR PORTER. The collection feels very nostalgic, yet modern while using all of our sustainable credentials.”

The collection is available to shop online.
