Luxury label Parajumpers returns for SS22 with a collection that reminds us to take some time, inspired by the power of nature.
In a fast-paced world full of distractions, Parajumpers’ new apparel collection asks us to take a breath, be present in the moment, and appreciate nature. With calming hues and delicate textures, the label evokes the rolling hills of a natural landscape whilst maintaining functionality for a variety of climates.
Co-founded in 2006 by Ape & Partners and designer Massimo Rossetti, Parajumpers is known for their dedication to high-quality functionality and durability. Their latest collection is no different, as the SS22 pieces are made of fabrics such as hard-wearing nylon. Other highlights include details such as down-padded lining; patches with the brand’s motto, “That Others May Live”; and yellow elastic straps on the collar that can also come with a hook used in parachuting.
Their new ‘Beyond Boundaries’ campaign is heavily inspired by the powerful energy of wild scenery. This is reflected in the menswear section of the collection as it combines bright colours with deeper accents, whilst the womenswear offering utilises pastel tones alongside earthy hues in-line with the campaign’s themes. Our favourite pieces include a versatile white gilet perfect for changing weather, a soft green that brightens up a monochrome look, and the soft sweatshirts with a central Parajumpers logo.
