MyCompiledThoughts is a modern-day philosopher spreading musical vulnerability in new single "Pentagon".

MyCompiledThoughts is a Haitian-Boston raised, LA based artist bringing modern day philosophy to his musical output. Covering topics such as life, love, pain, death, and heartbreak – new track “Pentagon” discusses the human mechanism of being defensive. With another track due next month, things are hotting up for MyCompiledThoughts.

Having accumulated streams in the tens of thousands, previous single “Mona Lisa” demonstrated MyCompiledThoughts’ mission. Blending jazz, R&B and hip-hop sounds alongside buttery vocals, his most recent album ‘Letters To You’ was based entirely on writing letters ot various women in his life. In December 2021 the artist caught the attention of French record label Kitsuné Musique, collaborating with them to release “Midnight Cookout”, a track outlining the balance between love and chaos.

Discussing “Pentagon”, MyCompiledThoughts describes: “The song Pentagon, like the shape, has multiple meanings or sides to it. It is about being defensive. The song starts with the line ‘Promise me you’re different’ because my guard is up after being betrayed. But it is also about passion, and how my passion for my past lover leads me to disregard the chance of future romance.” The emotional vulnerability speaks volumes, and is reflected in the accompanying video due on July 1st.  The Bodega Plus production is characterised by hand-held camerawork, as  MyCompiledThoughts takes us through memories of past lovers.
