Rising pop sensation Skofee shares captivating visuals for her brand new release, “Quicksand”, ahead of a forthcoming EP.

Los Angeles-based Skofee is an indie-pop singer-songwriter fast becoming one to watch. In the run-up to her brand-new EP ‘Joyland’, the artist has shared a new single, co-written and produced with Grant Boutin (Jillian Rossi, J Que Smith).

Introducing her sound with a 2020 debut EP ‘Polished’, Skofee has since released a string of stargazing indie-pop releases. Just two years into her musical project, this summer saw Skofeee collaborate with singer-songwriter and producer Cimo Fränkel for a remake of his previous single “Where Do You Hide Your Love”.

“Quicksand” sees Skofee share another infectious release, taken from her upcoming sophomore EP ‘Joyland’, scheduled for release later this year. Throughout the music video, the artist shares erratic footage of claustrophobic spaces, and glitchy visuals directed by Holy Smoke Photography. Speaking about “Quicksand”, Skofee says it’s “my ode to hitting a breaking point. It’s about the sinking realization that you have to let go of someone that you’ve been desperately trying to hold onto”.
