Listen to an exclusive preview of new collaborative single "Where Do You Hide Your Love" by Cimo Fränkel & Skofee.

Reworking his original track “Where Do You Hide Your Love”, Cimo Fränkel has tapped alt-pop singer Skofee for a new version, previously featured on his self-titled debut album.

Born in Amsterdam and based in Los Angeles, Cimo Fränkel discovered a love for music whilst growing up around his father, a funk musician. Exploring music production from the age of fifteen, he cites inspiration from the likes of Michael Jackson and Huey Lewis. Also based in Los Angeles, Skofee has been going from strength to strength since her EP release ‘Polished’.

The new version puts the track into a more mellow gear, reimagining the narrative as a heart-wrenching duet. Talking about the collaboration, Skofee describes: “When I heard Cimo’s original song I was immediately struck by not only his incredible voice, but the lyrics. When I write sadder lyrics, I love tempering them with a “happier” sounding track. That’s one of the things I love most about writing music – combining complicated lyrics with production that makes you want to dance. I felt the original “Where Do You Hide Your Love” had that perfect balance.”
