Philadelphia-born, LA-based producer, Louis Futon, is back with not one but two singles, "Re-Up" / "Amoeba".

Known for weaving everything from jazz to hip-hop, soul, and R&B into his electronic-based music, Louis started his journey as a bedroom producer but quickly made a name for himself as an artist and live performer too. Now, he’s racked up more than 150 million streams, toured North America and played Coachella, CRSSD, Made In America and more, as well as supporting the likes of ODESZA, GRiZ, and Louis The Child on the road.

Louis’ new tune “Re-Up” sees him collaborate with rapper Armani White to release something that has been in the works for a long time. Speaking on the track, Louis said: “Armani and I really clicked in the studio together. He’s someone who I love collaborating with because he’s along for the ride with me and buys into wherever the vibe takes us. ‘Re-Up’ is actually a song we wrote together in my mom’s basement a couple years ago, but contrary to living in my mom’s basement, this song has swag.”

Louis Futon’s other new single, “Amoeba” has a trippy sonic feel to it, which, the artist says was exactly the plan. “Amoeba is a song that was highly influenced by the use of marijuana, I wanted to make something that takes you through an epic journey”, Louis explained. “The song started off with me sampling my guitar strings as a percussive instrument leading into and intricate drum pocket paired with a plucky bass. As it ramps up in intensity, one of my favorite parts on this entire album comes when the wall of horns come out of nowhere and knock you on your ass.”
