Ireland-based artist, Weirdz, releases the album 'Romantic Call' featuring bashment guru Gyptian, as well as Ayo Jay and Stonebwoy.
Weirdz is a growing to be a strong presence in the Afro-Bashment scene, with his songs regularly racking up between tens and hundreds of thousands of streams.
His second full-length project since 2018’s ‘Sunshine & Whistle’, ‘Romantic Call’ brings in features from bashment guru Gyptian, as well as Stonebwoy and Ayo Jay.
For the title track, “Romantic Call”, Weirdz’s silky vocals and infectious melodies capture raw emotions as both he and Gyptian spell out their appreciation for their lovers.
With Rihanna’s hip-swinging track, “If It’s Lovin That You Want”, subtly sampled in the background, both artists paired together have created a song that is filled with love and sultry melodies that forces you to groove from start to finish.
With most songs on the 7-song record coming in between the 3-4 minute mark, this satisfying album will have you grazing over the loop button, not wanting the experience to end.
