Introducing Santi. The coolest guy on the Nigerian Alté scene, who is fusing afro-bashment with a slouchy 90's aesthetical twist.

From Lagos to the screens of London, Santi is undoubtedly a rising star in the Afro-bashment scene. Following the huge sum of success that his previous single “Rapid Fire” received, with nearly half a million views and huge accolades from the likes of i-D, Fader and Complex all spreading the word, this conceptual musical artist has more than sounds to share. Santi is one of a kind, a real experimenter fusing modern sounds with old-school lo-fi visuals to create his darkly textured groovy tunes. A deeply conceptual artist who aligns his distinctive sound with images from his imagination and strongest memories to create a cinematically striking visual you cannot find anywhere else. Intertwining influences from cable TV cartoons, Nollywood VHS tapes and goth-rock ballads throughout his experimental high energy production, Santi is creating feel-good vibes with a purpose. With his debut album “Mandy In The Jungle” freshly released today, through crafting a strong sense of slouchy 90’s nostalgia Santi is the Prince of recreating the past in the future. Reflecting the creatively aesthetic attitude of the Lagos Alté scene, Santi is a star in the making, ready to change the game completely.
