What happens when two iconic brands – one from the US and one from the UK – team up to create a capsule collection? Sebago and Baracuta have done just that, producing three covetable creations.
The high-end Michigan-based artisan brand, Sebago, has collaborated with UK menswear brand, Baracuta, to produce three synthesised creations – moccasins, boating shoes, and a jacket.
For Spring/Summer 2020, each brand revisited its own iconic designs. For Sebago, Dan Citysides moccasins and Portland Docksides boating shoes; for Baracuta, the classic G9 jacket.
The Sebago Dan Baracuta shoes (below) revisit Sebago’s iconic design: a moccasin for all seasons. Crafted in a shiny, full-grain leather for maximum durability and hand-sewn with the best artisanal workmanship, these weatherproof penny loafers feature red leather insoles and Fraser Tartan inserts inside the split strap. available in black and burgundy. Available in either black or burgundy.
The Sebago Portland Baracuta shoes come in three different colours of suede leather – red, dark green and blue. Recalling the hues of Baracuta’s Fraser Tartan, the hand-sewn boating shoes feature a leather insole, a leather all-round lace-up system and non-marking rubber soles in slip-proof streaked rubber.
Finally, Sebago with Baracuta also presents two jackets inspired by the famous G9 design: the Combo Jacket (below) in navy blue, dark green and red, and the Skipper Jacket, in total blue. Both brand logos feature in gold lettering printed on the jacket’s internal lining.
