Norway's most streamed female artist, Astrid S, selects 10trax for Notion that she can't get enough of.
Astrid S has had a crazy few years. Already considered a national treasure in her home country of Norway, Astrid took the crown as the country’s most streamed female artist of 2021. The release of her debut album Leave It Beautiful in 2020 showcased Astrid’s more vulnerable side, chronicling heartbreak and change while also flexing her songwriting talent alongside impressive vocals. Proving she has that star quality, Astrid has sold-out world tours and scooped up the award for ‘Best New Artist’ at the Norwegian Grammy’s.
And not only has the star earned her stripes in the music industry, Astrid made her acting debut as Cinderella in Norway’s remake of the classic resulting in a top three best opening weekend for a Norwegian family film in history. As well as this, Astrid has supported Greta Thunberg for her Fridays for Future event in Sweden, committing to stand by her beliefs for sustainability. Astrid has also worked with the likes of JP Cooper, Shawn Mendes and fellow pop star Dagny.
With streams in the billions and over 8 million monthly listeners, it looks as though this pop powerhouse is set to take over the rest of the world too. With so much to celebrate, Astrid S selects 10trax for Notion that she can’t switch off.
