Bklava and ABSOLUTE. have linked up for the rave-ready piano-led banger, "Fired Up (ABSOLUTE. Edit)", so we asked the pair for their 10 fave club slammers.

Brighton-based, Irish-Lebanese singer and producer, Bklava, has joined forces with London’s club-kid newcomer, ABSOLUTE. for the high-octane, break-beat, piano-driven banger, “Fired Up (ABSOLUTE. Edit)”.

Bklava’s sweet-as-candy vocals dance across ABSOLUTE.’s rave-ready production for this single that’s just begging to be blasted out in a sweaty, laser-filled club.

Speaking on the collaboration, Bklava says: “’Fired Up’ is for all the ravers.  It’s that feeling you get in the club, of complete happiness and euphoria. That’s why the video is a collection of mine and ABSOLUTE.’s clips of all the best times we’ve had, either playing a set or being in the crowd; dancing, feeling good and listening to the best music around the people you love!”

ABSOLUTE. adds: “When Bklava came to my place for our first studio session, we had such a warm instant connection; it made working together a real joy, and magic flowed in the studio organically. We were jumping around in my bedroom without a care, feeling so comfortable and free to keep pushing things, faster BPMs, harder kick drums. Having our own moment, it was pure and real, all without rules or preconceptions. We spoke about boys and about people not being able to let go and give themselves to the moment or to someone when they both know it’s right. ‘Fired Up’ was our soundtrack to that moment.”

Accompanying the new track is a nostalgic music video that features some of Bklava and ABSOLUTE.’s best clubbing memories.

"Searchin' For My Rizla" by Ratpack

Bklava: "When I first started DJing I was obsessed with 90s dance music - particularly house/garage/acid and breaks and this song was one of those tunes I discovered that just gave me goose bumps and made me wanna hear it live instantly! Definitely an iconic track."

"Let Me Be Your Fantasy" by Baby D

Bklava: "Everyone will know the hook but it’s just so good! Definitely heard this one when I was little and it’s always been a banger. The trick or treat remix is one I used to play live on some of my first shows."

"Your Love" by The Prodigy

Bklava: "Probably my favourite Prodigy song tbh! From their first ep “Charly”. Doesn’t get old for me and the piano hook is such a staple 90s sound!"

"Piano Magic" by Maya Jane Coles

Bklava: "I’ve been listening to Maya Jane Coles for years and think she’s a wicked producer. 'Piano Magic' is a very euphoric track from her most recent solo ep ‘Would You Kill (4 Me)?’"

"Lifetime - Anz's Togetherness Remix" by Romy

Bklava: "Romy’s voice is gorgeous and I’m excited to see more releases from her solo project! The original is so sick but the Anz remix defo has that old school feel to it whilst making it current - which I love!"

"Piano Theory" by ABSOLUTE.

ABSOLUTE: "Uplifting rave euphoria to get us through, the first release from my forthcoming mixtape, 'Wonderland' which drops this April."

"Room Full of Rothko" by Mall Grab

ABSOLUTE: "Stunning sounds from one of my most talented friends."
