Celebrating their recent 'fabric presents' compilation, Chaos in the CBD divulge 10 of their top tracks right now from European tech house to Balearic beats.

"Tranced Awakening (Boxed Mix)" by Paper Maché

Every playlist needs at least one Kerri Chandler production. Here’s one of our favourites from 1995 under his Paper Maché alias on Subwoofer Records. That bassline is nasty.

"E-Rotik" by The Wickermen

Rolling house music by Scott Bradford, Craig Dewson and Chris Scott coming out on their Shindig label in 1995. A fine year for dance music. This one goes down a treat at 4am.

"Jurassic House Remix" by Jovonn

Jovonn has to be one of our favourite house producers. Extremely consistent with one of the warmest and rawest production styles in the game.

"Out Of Bounds (Club Mix)" by T.F.M.

Stunning Balearic broken beat coming out of Onizom Music in Italy from 1990.

"Vision 1" by Mellow Man & Mike Mairé

Dubby European tech house sounds coming out of Germany in 1999 through the Montreux Recordings label. Lovely Detroit inspired synth-work that just grows and grows throughout the track.

"Funk In NJ" by Funk Force Project

Jackin house written by the legendary DJ Deep alongside Olivier Portal coming out on the French label Straight Up in 1999. Funky ass bassline which makes it unmistakably French. DJ Deep forever!

"Alarm Call (Teasmade Dub by Swag)" by Björk

Tech House pioneers Swag deliver a typically outstanding dub mix of Björk as part of a remix package on One Little Indian in 1998. As deep as they come.

"Arabona (With A…A)" by Midi Out

There was clearly something special happening in the Italian house scene in the 90s. This track is bursting full of emotions, which seems to be a trademark of the classic early sound out of Italy. A special reach for the lasers moment on No Name Records in 1991.

"Bring Back Your Love (Magic Flute Mix)" by Love Planet

Classy piano driven deep house from 1994 on Swiss label Maniak Records. An infectious bassline coupled with hypnotic flute samples makes for a perfect track.

"Tribal Juice (The Jazz Club Sacred Mix)" by Nyles-Jarvis Project

High quality US house music from the now sadly deceased Boyd H Jarvis alongside Nyles Arrington from the New Jersey label, Jazz Club.
