Taking a turn in the 10Trax hot seat, Fleur Shore selects her all-time favourite dance records in the run up to a forthcoming EP release.

Based in Birmingham, DJ and producer Fleur Shore is making a name for herself as one of the most talked about selectors coming up in the UK. With a broad knowledge of genres, her own eclectic taste and a love for the creative and unconventional, both her sets and original tracks are packed with surprises.

Since her 2018 debut, Fleur’s become a regular at iconic venues from fabric to Amnesia, playing parties from Jamie Jones’ Paradise to Moxy Muzik. Known for high-energy sets filled with infectious basslines, rousing vocal samples and late 80s-early 90s influenced sounds, her repertoire is as versatile as it is unique.

With new release “Booty Shake” available to pre-save now and a slot at one of Printwork’s final shows on 31st March to look forward to, Fleur took a moment to select 10 tracks to get us hyped.

"Kept Secrets" by Inland Knights

I loved playing this track for my all night long sets last summer, this track is perfect for the transition from warm up to being like ‘let’s f**cking go!’

"You’re Under My Control Now" by Spencer Parker (Radio Slave Remix)

This is one of those tracks that I’ve had in the bag for a few years but never had the right moment to play…until last year. Amnesia, the main room for one of my all night long sets seemed like the right time and it booted off.

"Chocopop Jazz" by Cesar Maravillas

Rolling house and jazz, what could go wrong?

"Go Techno" by Joeski

This one never gets old. It hits every time!

"Sunset (Original Mix)" by The Poor Knight

One of those end of the night records. The lights are coming on and you've reluctantly got to go home. This track makes you want to hug your friends and tell them that you love them.

"Dynamite" by UN*DEUX

I love a sassy vocal, it makes you want to shake your ass. This is out on the amazing Robsoul Recordings; I love all of their stuff.

"X-Press 2" by Muzik Xpress

This is one of my go-to records. A pure classic, it’s a guaranteed party starter.

"A No. 1" by DJ Duke

Organ bomb, nothing else.

"Still Of The Night" by 95 North

For me this is another one of those end of the night songs. This one really picks everyone back up.

"BTTBeat" by Cobra

This is house music in all its joy. I heard this play last summer on the Amnesia terrace and I had to find it! After months of persistence, I finally did.
