From Bloc Party and N.E.R.D to Martha Wainwright, American alternative rap duo Paris Texas select 10Trax that inspired their new album, 'MID AIR'.

"Bloody Mother Fucking Asshole" by Martha Wrainright

Shorty's pen game was going crazy.

"Tuh" by Beatking, Queendom Come

Yeah, it’s in there for sure. Shoutout to Houston, man.

"Ice Age" by 454

I think this song helped me speak more about painful things that I don’t always speak about in music.

"I Couldn’t Say It To Your Face" by Arthur Russell

Arthur's wild bro. He was really in a crazy bag making shit like this.

"Squabble" by RXKNephew & Rx Papi

Their dynamic on this song is fun and energetic. I really wanted to channel that for ourselves on this album.

"Helicopter" by Bloc Party

Yeah man, this song is a staple in watching someone who looks like us do something they didn’t think we can do. Like this song kind of grandfathered us unintentionally, so I really looked to this song when making the album.

"Prison Song" by System of a Down

System of a Down really turned a political statement into a rager on this one.

"Admit It!!" by Say Anything

I love satirical/cynical writing, it's definitely a big inspiration on my pen.

"Jump" by N.E.R.D, Benji Madden, Joel Madden

I mean, you hear N.E.R.D all throughout our album honestly.
