Peyton, the Houston-hailing singer-songwriter, has been dazzling on the dream-pop scene since 2017. Her breakthrough track “Sweet Honey”, which mingles dreampop, R&B, and elements of soul, was selected by personal request of the show’s creator to feature on HBO’s Insecure.

The single mapped out the upcoming star’s melting pot of a style. When she started out in 2015, Peyton collaborated with Steve Lacy on her track “Verbs” – mixing elements of trip-hop, gospel, and lo-fi. The singer’s penchant for combining genres can be traced back to her musical roots: playing the violin aged 5, singing in the church gospel choir, and recently completing a degree in classical voice.

Peyton’s second EP ‘Reach Out’ solidified the artist’s presence on the music scene, meeting critical praise. In 2021, she returns with a full debut album ‘PSA’, whose two tracks released so far promise lots to look forward to. Angelic and silky R&B single “Don’t U Wanna Fly” was produced together with Biako, Insightful, David Phelps, and Vicky Farewell, while “Let It Flow” features Brice Blanco rapping bars.
