Constantly taking into account the global situation and following advice from the Dutch government, WOO HAH! Festival is going ahead, so we got our favourite RIMON to curate a 10Trax to get you in the mood.

There is a reason that WOO HAH! Festival is not just the Dutch favourite festival but is one of Europe’s most loved and cherished festivals. They are constantly taking into consideration the situation of the global pandemic, and following their government’s advice, WOO HAH! Festival is planning to take place from the 10th – 12th of July.

Their always stellar lineup appears to have outdone itself this year as it reads like the heavyweight championship in hip-hop and R&B featuring Kendrick Lamar, Young Thug, A$AP Ferg, ADF Samski, Aitch, AJ Tracey, Alix Perez, Ares, Ashafar, BBNO$, Cho, DaBaby, DaniLeigh, Earthgang, Frenna, Gotu Jim, Ho9909, IMANU, Lauwtje, Lijpe, Lil Keed, Lil Tecca, Maxo Kream, Mensa, Murda, NAV, Pi’erre Bourne, Playboi Carti, Polo G, Rimon, Roddy Ricch, Santi, Sevn Alias, Shoreline Mafia, SiR, Ski Mask The Slump God, Slowthai, Smino, Tiffany Calver, TNGHT, Trippie Redd, Tyler Yaweh, Young M.A, Young Thug, Yung Lean, Yung Nnelga and Zwangere Guy.

The festival itself takes place in the stunning Beekse Bergen, The Netherlands which will play as the backdrop to some of the greatest performances in the summertime without a doubt.

Our favourite R&B enchantress RIMON joined up with us and the folks at WOO HAH! Festival to curate the ultimate playlist to get you in the mood for the upcoming potential highlight of your summer. It has to be said, RIMON’s taste levels did not come to play as she pays tribute to some of the best tracks around.

You can stay up to date on WOO HAH! Festival regarding Covid-19 here and any other information.

"Money Trees" by Kendrick Lamar

"This song just brings back memories, and genuinely gives me good vibes. I love all Kendrick's music and it was really hard to pick and, although I can’t relate to the bars or the lifestyle of this particular song, the amount of times I played this and sang a long to just gives it a beautiful sense of nostalgia."

"Something Foreign" by SiR, ScHoolboy Q

"I love SiR, I love his voice and his lyrics. This particular song is a favourite because of the hook and the piano. I love how he chose a subject matter that’s quite materialistic, but pulled it off to make it sound so smooth. And that piano just hits my soul, always."

"Rapid Fire" by Santi

"I really respect Santi who is in control of his whole artistic universe, a real visionary. Next to that, his music always gets me dancing in front of my mirror in my room. I chose 'Rapid Fire' because I saw some footage of him performing that live, and the energy is just crazyyyyy."

"Up (COLORS version)" by Earthgang

"One of my favourite Colors performances for sure. I love the contrast of energy in both of them, WowGr8 who is very laid back and then this almost hysteric energy of Johnny Venus. I've never seen them live so I’m very excited to see them."

"Wild Irish Roses" by Smino

"This is my jammmm. This is my bedroom jam. It never gets old, and I can constantly play it. Smino; his range is mad, his rapping, his singing, his harmonies. Also, Monte Booker who produced this is a legend."

"Racer" by Pi'erre bourne

"My boyfriend put me on to this song, and he played it so many times that I started to love it haha. Especially the melodies and adlibs in the hook. I knew Pi'erre from his productions and his beat tag, but didn’t expect him to come up with a good artist project."

"Ginseng Strip 2002" by Yung Lean

"Yung lean was actually one of my first hip hop concerts that I went to as a 15 year old. I went to all these crazy shows and was always in the centre of the moshpit lol. I loved it, I loved and still love the energy, I loved jumping around and feeling a sense of freedom & oneness with the crowd. Yung Lean, and especially this song will forever be a good memory of my reckless teenage years."

"Dior" by Pop Smoke

"First of all, rest in peace. I find it so sad that he passed away, at such a young age with so much potential. I know he won’t perform at WOO HAH! anymore, but I still chose this song cause this song was for real the hype song of every party bringing everyone together and I hope to still hear it all over the festival as a tribute."

"Deal Wiv It" by Mura Masa ft slowthai

"This song just really gives me UK punk vibes. It makes me wanna go to a random bar, get drunk and make stupid impulsive decisions resulting in crazy memories. Which in my eyes is a good thing, at times."

"Sorry" by S10

"I love S10. She’s a Dutch rapper/singer. I love how she dares to do things musically/vocally that I don’t hear a lot in the Dutch hiphop world. I love this particular song, she brings a very raw but melancholic vibe and the production gives me Kanye vibes which is a good thing."
