Notion Magazine celebrates its monumental 75th issue with a specially curated issue divided into four parts, with a cover star to represent each of its four chapters.
The first cover star to be revealed is Sita Abellán, a thoroughly modern muse and arguably the future face of fashion.
Discovered by Rihanna, she’s become a generation-defining model, walking for everyone from Jeremy Scott to Faust Puglisi and of course Riri’s own Fenty X PUMA collection. Dressed head to toe in vintage fashion pieces from the archive of outfitters-extraordinaire Ninety FLY, Sita shows us why she’s so in demand.
While her blue bob has become synonymous with the world of fashion, Sita’s life off the catwalk is just as exciting as on it, as we find out in her cover story. From jetting across the world as a DJ to trying her hand at design, Abellán is a thoroughly modern fashion muse.
In our first cover for Notion 75, she takes on: consumerism – “Everyone can buy things so easily, yet they get bored so quickly. I’m not into that kind of thing”, the value of luxury fashion – “I think that when you buy something expensive, it has been designed by an artist – it’s something you should want to keep forever” and even lets us in on some of her styling tips – “A look is so simple if you don’t accessorize – that’s why I have so much jewellery, so many pairs of shoes and sunglasses!”
