Comme des Garçons parfums clash surrealism with nature in their 10th series: CLASH, with three brand new worlds and fragrances.
Comme des Garçons are known and admired for being tastemakers and trailblazers when it comes to originality and experimentation.
This definitely doesn’t falter when it comes to their fragrances. Presenting their 10th series, Comme des Garçons are taking on the world of collisions and the beauty that can come from two worlds colliding to make up three beautiful new otherworldly scents. CLASH unites in the strength of differences, bringing together the elements that are worlds apart to make something truly unique. Surprising alliances were formed, originating in the art of surrealist collages.
Comme des Garçons perfume art director Christian Astuguevieille researched what comes when two raw materials that were never organically intended to meet collide, creating something new entirely. The result? Three new fragrances that embody this collision of universes – Radish Vetiver, Celluloid Galbanum and Chlorophyll Gardenia.
Radish and Vetiver are both roots that were never meant to cross paths underground. Perfumer Nathalie Cetto elevated them from their earthly homes in this woody green confrontation, resulting in this modern and woody fragrance.
Celluloid and Galbanum are natural contradictors, originating from the opposite worlds of technology and nature. Perfumer Domitille Michalon-Bertier designed this invigorating floral green perfume where synthetic and organic meet.
Chlorophyll and Gardenia is the combination of gardenia’s feminine and heady scent with the freshness of Chlorophyll. Perfumer Caroline Dumur worked on this unusual concoction that has blossomed into a new floral green composition.
Comme des Garçons CLASH series will launch at Dover Street Market Parfums on the 2nd of October and all DSM stores on the 5th of October.
