Olly Shinder makes his Fashion East debut alongside returning designers Johanna Parv and Standing Ground.

It’s finally September and that can only mean one thing, London Fashion Week is just around the corner. Non-profit talent incubator Fashion East is returning for its highly anticipated SS24 showcase with a talented roster of emerging designers. Newcomer Olly Shinder will make his debut, alongside Johanna Parv and Standing Ground, who’ve previously presented as part of Fashion East’s illustrious event.

London-based designer Olly Shinder graduated from Central St Martins last year, creating a buzz with his work and clubwear silhouettes. Pa Salieu was spotted in the designer’s crocodile shell tracksuit last year, sporting the innovative tailoring and tactical designs that have defined his work thus far.

Returning after the success of her AW23 show, Johanna Parv’s utilitarian take on couture will provide another highlight at this year’s LFW. Known for her form-hugging looks, the designer’s work was recently featured on the cover of Orienteer Magazine. The publication’s take on technical wear brought out the functional aesthetics that Johanna’s used since graduating from CSM.

Michael Stewart’s Standing Ground will also showcase for Fashion East this year. Cutting through the noise with an equally minimalistic and futuristic adoption of luxurywear, the brand shows flashes of modernity in its vibrant designs and lively looks.

Taking place during Fashion Week on September 15, Fashion East’s showcase is an unmissable date on the event’s calendar. Cult womenswear brand ASAI, who returned this year after a four-year pause, will also join the emerging designers to present its latest collection.
