Portuguese producer Holly creates a dance music remix of St James Park and IVY's summery single "Tanger".

Exclusive to Tidal, the Holly remix of St. James Park and IVY’s song “Tanger” is a transportive number that provides the escape we all need right now.

The original version created by St James Park and IVY carries you sonically to a Mediterranean island where the sun kisses your skin and the waves lap at your feet. On Holly’s remix, IVY’s ethereal vocals float above the spacey synths, as the song slowly builds into a dance music dream.

Whilst his name may be fresh in your mind, Portuguese musician and producer, St James Park (aka Tiago Sampaio), is not a newcomer to the music scene. Before stepping out on his own, he toured the world in his band Grandfather’s House, yet felt a pull towards creating a venture of his own. Influenced by experimental electronics, classical music, hip-hop and jazz, Tiago debuted his nine-track album ‘Highlight’ earlier this year.

Likewise, remix maestro Holly (otherwise known as Miguel Oliviera) also hails from Portugal. Despite only kicking his musical career off a few years back, Holly has already toured much of the world and attracted the attention of dance music mavericks, with co-signs from Jauz, The Chainsmokes, Steve Aoki, Martin Garrix and more. If his remix of “Tanger” is anything to go by, it’s no wonder he’s building quite the buzz.
