The Great Escape 2022 festival has added a huge new wave of 120 artists to its line-up.

The Great Escape festival, coming this May to Brighton, already had an extremely impressive slate of artists cued up, from Yard Act to Sinead O’Brien to Malaki. As we near the two-month point before the festival opens its doors, it’s announced another huge wave of exciting acts to the line-up.

The festival is split across a wide range of genres – alt/indie, grime/rap/hip-hop, jazz/R&B/soul, pop/dance, punk/rock/metal, folk/Americana/country and electronic/ambient – and the new arrivals run the gamut. They include Notion favourite Alfie Templeman, Blackhaine, Chrissie, MUNA, spill tab, STONE, Bru-C, Casisdead, Kid Kapichi, Lido Pimenta, Stella Donnelly, Gabe Coulter, Willow Kayne, Cassyette, Lauren Hibberd and much more.

The Great Escape serves as a fitting kickoff to what is sure to be a vibrant and rejuvenated upcoming festival season, and its mission to provide a platform to the most exciting up-and-coming talent from across the world makes it one of the most intriguing prospects from across the year. The festival now comprises an impressive 450+ acts split across 35+ Brighton venues that’ll be opening the doors to thousands of music lovers come this May.

It’s preceded by the Road to the Great Escape prelude event, which takes a slate of artists including Eli Smart, Priya Ragu, Wallice, English Teacher and Honeyglaze to Glasgow & Dublin for the week before the main festival.

The Great Escape 2022 will take place in Brighton on 11-14 May 2022, and tickets are on sale here.
