BIIANCO lights up the stage with acid-dipped offering, ‘This Beat Is Gonna Eat Me Alive’, out to watch now.

Making ‘songs to dance and ugly cry to’, as according to their Insta bio, Gabby Bianco, AKA BIIANCO, is the burgeoning LA artist to have on your radar. After a reel performing part of their then-unreleased track, ‘This Beat Is Gonna Eat Me Alive’, began to rack up more views than any other clips in BIIANCO history, they’ve decided it’s time to give their listeners what they want.

Wearing many hats, the video explores the musician’s live vocals, as well as keys, drum pads, a drum machine and selective sampling. Filmed in one take, BIIANCO masterfully covers all bases single-handedly. The offering itself is inspired by acid house and trance music, with an emotional centre – a common theme in their past releases.

BIIANCO began their solo project several years ago after a desert retreat inspired an epiphany that they wanted to produce their own music, instead of other people’s, moving forward. Since 2019, they’ve released a number of singles and a full-length mixtape, which featured collaboration with the likes of Luna Shadows, Kaleena Zanders, SWIMM, and more. Continuing to tour globally, they’ve garnered attention across the globe with viral Instagram videos, and as a symbol of inclusion in the music industry as a queer, partially-blind femme producer.
