Experimental musical chameleon RADA premiers a new music video for her trance pop release, “Tightrope”, ahead of her forthcoming EP.

RADA is an experimental breakthrough artist who prides herself on genre fluidity with each single she releases. Refusing to be put in a box, the artist shapeshifts her sound eloquently. Today RADA has shared visuals for her latest release “Tightrope”, ahead of her new EP which is scheduled for release in the new year.

Making music since 2018, every single RADA has dropped has been layered with textures of electronica, alternative-indie-rock, hyper pop and liquid drum and bass. It’s fair to say each single boastfully has its identity and is a rigorous representation of the artist’s abstract vision. The music video is pictured in black and white and is a project sculpted by multiple creative heads including directors Sorrel Holiday and Emma Pearce who helped to officially bring this track to life.

Speaking about “Tightrope” RADA says: “When I was writing “Tightrope” I was going through a lot of life changes, I was trying to spend time with myself, and explore my sound. It’s important to me that I don’t have to play by any rules – my music influences change all the time, so why force myself to settle on just one? Generally, the song is about feeling on edge within a relationship/ situation…feeling like you’re going a bit insane. I think it’s probably one of the most personal songs I’ve ever written”.
