Ferdous returns with "UI", a transformative alt-pop project prioritising his own narrative and sound.

Afghan-Dutch artist Ferdous began his musical as a member of pop duo Klyne, a start which saw him support the likes of Metronomy and Christine and the Queens. Now fully committed to his solo project, Ferdous is back with another single release in the form of “UI”, released via ‘Faintly Red’.

 

No stranger to the music world, Ferdous has performed at Khruangbin’s aftershow party in Amsterdam, alongside gaining backing from the likes of Billboard, Ferdous is fast finding fans for his versatile electronic sound. Also gaining radio support from BBC 1Xtra and Spotify his addictive mixture of electronic, alt-pop and R&B is striking a chord.

 

Much of new project “UI” is build around addictive synth patterns, with “UI” offering transformative moments of alt-pop. This EP is a moment for fans worldwide to take note, offering the opportunity to experience Ferdous at his best and most experimental.
