Multi-platinum producer, P*nut, teams up with Franz Job and Qua to release his electrifying new track “Wake Up”.

Shuttling between London and Berlin, producer, artist, and writer John Harrison – better known as P*nut – has had tremendous influence over the music industry since starting out in the early noughties. With an illustrious career already under his belt, P*nut adds to his roster with his new track “Wake Up” featuring Franz Job and Qua.

Weaving elements of reggae and hip-hop, the earworm track has impeccable flow. P*nut’s production delivers a flawless serving of pulsing beats and spacey synths, melting effortlessly with Franz Job and Qua’s suave vocal performances. With a nod to old-school hip-hop sounds laced with a fresh contemporary edge, “Wake Up” is not to be missed.

Discussing the creation of the single, John explains: ‘Franz and I started to write “Wake up” two years ago, with both of us recording it together in Tobago and Berlin. Franz kept on channelling Janis Joplin’s “Lord won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz my friends all drive Porsches I must make amends, work hard all my lifetime no help from my friends, Lord won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz” throughout the recordings.’

Having worked with the likes of Dido, Faithless, James Arthur, Wiley, and Emeli Sandé to name a few, P*nut continues to take the world by storm with his expert knowledge and genius production.
