British singer-songwriter Waiting for Smith unleashes transformative new single, “White Light Of Love”.

Since bursting onto the scene in 2017, Waiting for Smith has been gaining momentum with a slew of stripped-back indie-folk numbers. On his latest track, “White Light Of Love”, a more transcendental feeling transpires; one that takes him on a journey of self-discovery.

Made when preparing for a four-month break in the idyllic landscapes of South Africa, the single speaks to moments of uncertainty. Led by singer-songwriter Harry Lloyd and shaped by producer Danton Supple, its emotive lyrics bring listeners on this journey too. Encouraging us to focus on our aspirations while not putting pressure on ourselves, “White Light Of Love” is his most profound work to date, providing moments of introspection in a relatable fashion.

Illuminating the power of human experience, Waiting for Smith’s new track is a moment to cherish. Released ahead of his headline show at Camden Assembly on Thursday, October 19, the single will unquestionably propel the rising artist to new heights. Intimate and honest, his music is made for live moments, sparking the kind of connection you only feel in the most open and vulnerable of spaces. With an ardent following across streaming services and social media, we can only hope that he continues to captivate in the manner he has thus far.
