adidas Originals are giving Londoners the chance to receive their limited edition EDIBLE trainers (you heard that right) via delivery app ‘Deliveroo’.

Modelled on the newly launched ZX 2K BOOST trainer, the mouth-watering cake version looks almost too good to eat (we said almost…).

The ZX’s spongy texture has been made into a real sponge (cake), complete with neon bold orange, yellow and black colourways at 1:1 scale. Inside, a chocolate ganache-coated chocolate sponge features buttercream with a unique orange flavour.

Want to get the adidas Originals experience? Visit the Deliveroo app on Wednesday 26th August from midday to be in with a chance of receiving the edible drop. Available on a first come first serve basis, the edible trainers are completely free of charge to order via the Deliveroo app.

You will need to be within a 1.5 mile radius of the Deliveroo Whitechapel Editions kitchen to view the offer on the Deliveroo app, with the edible ZX 2K BOOST delivered to their London address the same day.

The real-life version of the ZX is a high-tech trainer that blends the ZX’s running shoe heritage with a modern aesthetic, fusing vibrant colours with a BOOST sole for optimum comfort and squishiness.
