London-based Afrobeat artist Maulo has dropped his new track, "Ambitions", fresh from a collaboration with Anthony Joshua.
North-west London artist Maulo takes pride in his city roots. Combining Afrobeats with fresh R&B, the artist has created a sound that is quintessentially him, but also quintessentially London.
Maulo got a huge signal boost when mega-famous British boxer Anthony Joshua picked one of his tracks for his ringside walk for the boxer’s scrap last year against Oleksandr Uysk. Maulo and Joshua have since linked up again for a collaboration with sportswear brand Under Armour on Instagram, creating a reel that has been viewed over a million times.
He has now dropped his latest track, “Ambitions”, a catchy, hook-filled tune that puts Maulo’s impactful lyrics at the forefront. Regarding the track, Maulo has explained a motivation perfectly in tune with his collabs with Joshua: “It’s about inspiring and giving anyone struggling that extra push to let them know anything is achievable.”
