Afrobeats singer-songwriter Kizz Daniel shares his brand-new single “Cough” with a vibrant music video, out via EMPIRE.
Gifted singer-songwriter and musician Kizz Daniel has shared a brand-new music video for his melodic new single “Cough”. Stood as the focus track of EMPIRE’s forthcoming compilation album ‘Where We Come From (Vol. 1)’, “Cough” is the first glimpse into this full-length project and is a colourful introduction, to say the least.
Throughout the years the artist has built praise for his charismatic stage presence across each of his live shows. Having recently performed at the 2022 World Cup opening event in Qatar, Kizz continues to share his joyful music around the world. His new release “Cough” comes alongside a music video directed by filmmaker Director K (Wizkid, Tems, Rema), in the beautiful landscape of Lagos and features shots of house parties, abstract choreography and more.
Speaking about his inspiration behind “Cough” Kizz says: “For this song I wanted to highlight the feeling of new love. The song itself is energetic and celebratory, and it really captures what it’s like to fall for someone new”.
