CUPRA tap Motomami ROSALÍA for a reinterpreted version of her hit single “Abcdefg” for new campaign.
Highlighting what the brand stands for in 2023, Catalonian car brand CUPRA have launched a new campaign with global superstar ROSALÍA. Remixing her viral “Abcdefg”, the collaboration premiered yesterday during the half-time show of the King’s League final: a new seven-a-side football format founded by Gerard Piqué.
Featuring Barcelona players Ansu Fati and Marc ter Stegen, fans were treated to the surprise reveal, which celebrates young creative talent and CUPRA’s commitment to innovation. Padel player Ariana Sánchez and driver Klara Andersson also appeared in the video.
Sharing an international mindset, CUPRA and ROSALÍA have become global ambassadors of Basque County’s inherent beauty. With millions of followers worldwide, the reggaeton stalwart has, in a few years, become Spain’s most recognisable musician. ‘MOTOMAMI’, her most recent album, picked up multiple Grammys and continues to grow in popularity.
Co-signing another Catalonian powerhouse, ROSALÍA recently reinterpreted Barcelona’s home jersey for their forthcoming El Clásico match. CUPRA’s current collaboration with the singer-songwriter is an extension of their ongoing partnership. Posters featuring a number prompting passers-by to text WhatsApp and receive short clips of the track have been plastered across Madrid, Barcelona and Mexico City.
The campaign is now fully live and can be viewed across CUPRA’s social media channels.
