The latest artist to break through the underground Spanish music scene is Leïti Sene following the likes of Rosalía.

With Senegalese roots, Leïti Sene is the first generation of his family to be born in Barcelona where he discovered the blossoming underground hip-hop and rap scene that’s currently exploding with an array of talents. What makes Leïti Sene unique is the sound he is crafting by blending his African roots with his Spanish inspirations with the feature from  Aleesha. It’s clear to hear upon listening to Leïti Sene’s EP that this discovery of his roots is woven in between universal coming-of-age tales. Thematically, Leïti Sene is blurring the lines on what it means to have a home and your origins all the while finding his unique voice in a collective.

Continuing to push the boundaries, Leïti Sene is creating a space for himself that allows a freedom of expression within the most sensitive and introverted areas of his mind. With that, comes an act of quiet courage that presents Leïti Sene with an understanding of who is he, and the power that comes with being vulnerable. The soft and tender visuals ahead of the EP launch saw Leïti Sene team up with Ana Sting who has shot stellar artists like Jorja Smith, Rosalía and Brooke Candy. After releasing two previous EPs with local urban collective SamxSen, Leïti Sene is ready to take the reigns after garnering a fire behind him within the Spanish music scene like a bird ready for flight.

Until the release of the highly-anticipated EP ‘Joël’, get ready to have ‘Galarina’ ft Aleesha on repeat and give your eyes a treat with the conceptual visual below.
