Having recently returned from tour and dropped new project, Is What It Is, producer Love Remain makes us a mix to be listened to on the move.

What DJs, artists, club nights, or genres are inspiring you right now?

I’ve been listening to a lot of Brazilian Funk / Baile after a recent trip, it’s so upfront and percussion-driven, it’s great. On a more UK tip I’ve been digging into some of the older V recordings catalogue. I’ve found some really great bits, and this week re-discovering Marcus Intalex’s production. It’s amazing!

Can you talk us through some of your inspirations for this mix?

I’ve just come back off tour so there are some bits that I have been playing out recently, along with some new edits. There are also a few older records in there that I have bought recently too.

Where do you imagine people listening to it?

I think when on the move, walking, in the car, train etc, feels like it’s that kinda vibe.

What’s one song you’ll always come back to in your mixes?

There is a song in here, Fet Et Moi – ‘Paris Is For Lovers’. It was one of the earlier records I bought. People often ask about this song, it’s a great JT flip and very evocative!

What should we look out for from you next?

I’m currently working on putting my Live show together, it’s at fabric on 17th April and I’m super excited about it!
