Three rising talents take the state at Gibson's Guitar Showroom.
Over the course of the year, we’ve seen some stellar performances from the likes of Puma Blue, Mae Muller and Grace Carter as part of our Some New Noise series in collaboration with SON Estrella Galicia. For our final event of 2018, we called upon three diverse risings talents to take to the stage at Gibson’s Guitar Showroom – and it was arguably our most special evening to date.
Gloucester-born Blossom Caldarone kicked things off for us, with a dreamy performance of slow and stripped back acoustic jams, putting the crowd into a melodic sway as they sipped their complimentary SON Estrella Galicia. She also took part in our backstage interview, where she revealed what she’s do with an unlimited budget for her headline performance and told us about her favourite tour experiences. Insisting that everyone snap out of their melancholy mood were Wild Front, the quartet whose roaring sounds provided a total shift in the atmosphere.
Kara Marni was our final act of the night. Arguably one of the UK’s hottest talents right now, her viral hit “Golden” is still being played by radios and in venues across the country. This year she’s toured with the likes of Raye and Rita Ora, and has been throwing some of her own headline shows – a little taste of what is to come in 2019, when we hope she’ll be releasing her debut album.
It was a special night with some incredible performances, a roaring atmosphere and lots of ice cold beers served up by Estrella Galicia. Until next time – let’s raise an Estrella to the amazing performances we’ve had as part of our Some Original Noise series!
Backstage Interviews
We also sat down with performs to ask them some questions about their experiences of live performances, from who they think is the best life performer, to what they’d do with an unlimited budget for staging on their headline tour. Have a look at some of their answers here.
