Rising South London artist ZION has his eye on the prize in the music video for his infectious new single “Lay You Down”.
After making waves with previous tracks ‘Friendzone’, ‘The Point’, ‘No Wahala’ and ‘Her, Her & You’ the rising-rapper brings the summer vibe on his latest single ‘Lay You Down’ which details his lustful desires in trying to lock-in his leading lady. Produced by renowned London production collective THE FANATIX who have worked with the likes of Nicki Minaj and Giggs, the spirited and vibrant track is sure to make waves in the UK R&B scene and secure Zion’s rise to stardom.
The effortless blend of R&B and afrobeat musical style shows that the 19-year-old British-Nigerian talent is prepared and ready to dive headfirst amongst his respective peers along with its accompanying visual. Shot in London’s Cargo Nightclub and Notting Hill, the music video pays tribute to Mario’s classic ‘Just A Friend’ and illustrates Zion’s ability to intertwine his musical influences into his own creations.
